If you've got a dude (or girl) to do the frets, it's a no-brainer. Now that doesn't mean you'll "need" that but it's a deal-breaker on many guitars and basses.

A funny story (that isn't so funny)

I've looked at "Guthrie Govan" charvels for a long time. For whatever reason, yesterday, I looked them up at MF and even at 3000 usd, I was interested. But they didn't have any.

It's a good thing

So, today, I don't know why, I looked again and they have them !!!!! But now for 3899 usd.

Same f**king guitar. Wow.

Another observation, My cali carved top was a total tax/shipping/hardshell case (with all my options) of almost EXACTLY 1400 uds. Now? Base price now, w/o options: 1600 usd.

Peeps, I can't keep up. And you DO still get what you pay for in many ways*

*Except the sub bass I got, but it required another 300 bucks in pup/tronics and I got really lucky (the ones I've played since are not even close)

new ride. Ravelle Elite with sustainer etc....preferring this to my Les Pauls. It can't quite beat the Nighthawk though.
