I still can't make up my mind (and I'm close to having the coin)
I dig it but can barely manage 6 strings, let alone 8 of them . . . 8)

looks beautiful though

fedexnman wrote:They seem very versatile from what I've seen on YouTube and some reviews .. I'm mainly an acoustic player so I'd like to have something that has that vintage/modern thing going on in an electric in its looks and sounds because I only really want to own one electric , same with a bass , funny on Bass I'm not real picky at all I like the jazz single coil neck pickup sound blemd it with the bridge a tad to kill the hum and I'm done , the Lakland skyline we're affordable and I have no gas for a Bass , I even changed out my pickups and pre in the Lakland with Nord stuff , I actually think the Korean Bart's that we're in it we're fine so I probably wasted my money on the upgrade sheeeet who knows . I think PRS does this with there 2017 SE custom line , I hope I plan on getting this in September I like the green but sweetwater also has a grey/black that's a sweetwater exclusive , kind looks very incubus ish that grey/black .. they also have a bunch of SE with the zebra styled pickups , which Im not a fan of too gibsonish probably why I like the green and the grey/black models they have .
If you've got a dude (or girl) to do the frets, it's a no-brainer. Now that doesn't mean you'll "need" that but it's a deal-breaker on many guitars and basses.

Man, I had no idea about this new hipshot "contour" trem. What little stuff there is about it looks good.

A funny story (that isn't so funny)

I've looked at "Guthrie Govan" charvels for a long time. For whatever reason, yesterday, I looked them up at MF and even at 3000 usd, I was interested. But they didn't have any.

It's a good thing :hihi:

So, today, I don't know why, I looked again and they have them !!!!! But now for 3899 usd.

:o :o :o

Same f**king guitar. Wow.

Another observation, My cali carved top was a total tax/shipping/hardshell case (with all my options) of almost EXACTLY 1400 uds. Now? Base price now, w/o options: 1600 usd. :o

Peeps, I can't keep up. And you DO still get what you pay for in many ways*

*Except the sub bass I got, but it required another 300 bucks in pup/tronics and I got really lucky (the ones I've played since are not even close)

Keep an eye out for a Guthrie Govan Rasmus, that's a killer guitar.

new ride. Ravelle Elite with sustainer etc....preferring this to my Les Pauls. It can't quite beat the Nighthawk though.

Planning to get me a 7-string axe of some sort. Which sort exactly, though, that's yet to be decided. Got my eyes on a few (more or less) budget models, linked below:
