Mr.Robot ( a TV series) has a strong synth-based soundtrack, which I enjoyed more than the series.

Blade Runner was the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. Chariots of Fire, though I don't think it holds up as well just in terms of style. And then there's Beverly Hills Cop with the theme that I had to play every time I was in front of a synth from 1984-1986:
