Can I set note velocity in phrase editor?

When using Note Editing mode in the workspace, there's a panel below the notes that have velocity... very useful for quickly adjusting the velocity of notes. I can't find anything like that in the phrase editor. Is there something there? Right-clicking a note and setting its accent / velocity is very long-winded...

Yes, you are right that is the only way to set velocities.
The Phrase Editor will be extended in the next version to allow editing MIDI controllers that belong to the phrase or notes...
