It's an evil ploy on their part.
Stuff like that made me want to compensate them for the effort (and to make sure they keep doing what they're doing), by buying everything they offer.
Just upgrading Z2 to Z3 and Repro1 to 5 (edit: if they would charge anything for those upgrades!) would cost less. Not that I regret doing this, quite the opposite, I even ended up enjoying the sound of Hive once I started doing my own patches. But you're making me buy things.

The Voyetra 8 is one of the best sounding analog synths ever made. Horrible interface though, which makes it all the better of a candidate for emulation with a more functional UI.
