Hey there! I just recorded one of the most challenging songs I've produced so far. I had up to 20+ tracks, and I had to render several times each track to free some memory on my crappy PC... Anyway, I'm quite unsure of the EQ on this song, I feel the vocals sound a little bit muddy (the only reference I have are my headphones and cellphone speaker, so I don't know if I'm doing this right) and some other issues you may find as well. So, I'd like to hear your valuable feedback, and while you're at it, why not listen to my other songs as well? :D

wow, 20+ tracks and freezing for a track that sounds recorded in the late 60/early 70's
at that time it was just 5 tracks. drums, guitar, bass, keys and vocals :hihi:
still a nice song in its composition. so yeah, if the 60/70's sound is what you were
after, you nailed it! :tu:

Haha, yeah, but in fact I was looking more for a 60s sound, as I've always liked that music period. I'm still experimenting with a more minimal approach to make my music a little more retro-sounding... Thanks for your input! :)

I'm guessing your Adrian? Listened to all of your Youtube posts and just really enjoying what I'm hearing.
I'm a babyboomer with my 'head' musically still alive in the late `60s acid psychedelic yrs.
You seem to be there too. :) I love and want to produce music like that. Somewhere between 'Grantchester Meadows', Buffalo Springfield - 'Expecting to Fly', Mandrake Memorial, Dukes of Stratosphere, and so on.
I like your voice. It fits into this era. You know your way around orchestral music apparently. I just really like your psychedelic folk rock sensibility.

Maybe we could do something together in the near future?
Here's to good music.

Thanks for your kind words, I'm happy to hear that you found my music enjoyable, and, oh boy, do I love psychedelic folk and 60's music :D ... It would have been a blast to form part of that generation, but there's no human way to manipulate time to go back there and live such a moment. I've been mainly inspired by the early Pink Floyd albums, especially by Syd Barrett's style so I guess that's why that's my music sounds like that.

And, sure, I'm open to working in some other projects, I'd be pleased to do so! Even tho I'm pretty much a newbie in this music production thing (I've been composing music for 2 years or so), but it would help me a lot to improve in many musical aspects.
Have a nice one! :tu:

Late 60s for me too.

It sounds pretty authentic and the instrumental parts are very well done. Taking you away on a little trip before returning to the vocals. Nice ending too.

Really sweet '60s song... well arranged and produced in my view.
The soundtrack for a chilled lazy beach day :)

Excellent tune, youve totally captured that genre/era vibe, head and shoulders above most of the tunes posted here
Amazon: why not use an alternative

I enjoyed the music and psychedelic vibe. The mix was very pleasant.

The vocals might be a bit off key at times. This is something I struggle with as well.

Very nice job overall! :tu:

Cool stuff !
Retro sound. It sounds exactly like it's from the 60/70's blooming of psychedelic era
Nice composition

I've always liked long instrumental parts hehe, most of my songs are structured in that way... Glad you liked it. :)

Thanks! I hadn't thought this would be a great song to listen to while you're relaxing at the beach, sounds nice though! ;)

Hey, thanks! That was the intention, still I think there's room for even more improvement. :D

Hehe, yeah, sometimes when I'm monitoring and singing at the same time I lose the sense of pitch, that's something I've working on lately. :tu: Hopefully in my next songs I'll be a little bit more in tune, thanks for the heads up!

Happy to hear that my mix has that convincing tone, regardless of the digital equipment I use. I'm sure that using analog stuff the sound would be even more convincing! Thanks for you comment! :D
