Here's the description of the plug-in quoted from Inear Display website :
"Amalgame is a multi-effect plugin that aims to streamline the creation of complex signal processing chains. Offering an intuitive workflow with all the functions easily accessible and logically laid out, Amalgame makes mutating sounds beyond recognition a breeze.
Amalgame provides a library of 23 effects ranging from bread and butter filters and delays to more esoteric and glitchy processors, which are always accessible and ready to be dropped on 6 XY pads where their key parameters are mapped to each axis.
The X and Y parameters of each pad can be sequenced from within the plugin with independent rate and length for each sequence giving you the opportunity to create insanely complex modulations in a few clicks.
And for an instant creativity boost, a versatile randomizer lets you alter the parameters, sequences and effect selections of any slot, or even regenerate the whole processing chain at the press of a button."
Intro price : 39€ (+VAT)

This looks amazing. Superb GUI and a truly wide selection of effects. This is what I call a Multi-Effect.
On my shopping list.
BTW, I've never heard of your company....just checking out your website, some really cool plugins there!

Lotta fun; wet/ dry per slot would be nice though, some of the fx are quite overpowering & you might want to dial in just a bit. Appreciate global in, out & mix is there though.

Insta-bought it, and lovin it! As usual for me, and all the Inear Diaplay / Glitchmachines stuff.
I would have preferred some more parameter control over the effects and maybe
parallel, serial and multiband signal path options. Not a big deal though, this
is great stuff! The x-y seq is a joy to use, although it could definitely use some sort of
mathematical input capability, so we can make it draw a circle.
-Cheers

Very nice, it's like 4 KaossPad into one single plugin !
It's intuitive, with chunky XY pads, and the step sequencers for each effects are great.
Well done, Inear Display !

Inear Display is a french company which has also coded plug-ins for Glitchmachines.
Their products are the FSU paradise to me. I just love everything Inear Display is doing.

My first reaction when seeing the X-Y pads on this was that they were similar to the implementation in the Reaktor Ensemble Vectorspace*:
...because of the control over the axis and length parameters. In Vectorspace you can either set these via the sliders, or grab the nexus point and move it with your mouse, and it will record these movements:
I think this would also make an interesting addition to Amalgame.
* Disclaimer: many Ensembles may use this method to record modulation; Vectorspace is the only example I've seen; I don't get out much though

Thanks, I'll do that, I've chatted with him before, nice guy... I'm sureEndor-8o8 wrote:

hell take it into consideration.
BTW: you can make it draw circles easily with parameter automation.
2 LFOs out of phase... Its a snap if you have Bitwig, Live(M4L) or MidiShaper.
No doubt other stuff as well.

I'll try this out of phase LFOs technic with Max4Live. Thanks man !!pekbro wrote:Thanks, I'll do that, I've chatted with him before, nice guy... I'm sureEndor-8o8 wrote:
