I'm sure the OP will either put us all in the pocket by now, after more than 4 years after asking the initial question. Either that, or he gave up on everything.

Wouldn't recommend this one. It's essentially a list of sounds you do via samples instead nowadays... and very basic settings. No technique or tips'n tricks. I bought it several years ago expecting something in the way of Simon Cann's book - it isn't.audiojunkie wrote:I'm planning on buying this one soon:
