Hello,
As the subject states i would like to ask you here about choosing the right mixer for bringing more inputs to my studio.
I have RME Fireface 400 which until now was working fine to record few instruments but since my studio got upgraded to 7 hardware instruments i don't have enough inputs on the soundcard to record them.
So i would like to ask you guys if you had any experience with any of the mixers which i am considering as an option and which one you would recommend:
Soundcraft Signature 16 (€ 584.00)
https://www.soundcraft.com/en-US/products/signature-16
Presonus Studio Live AR 16 (€ 640.00)
https://www.presonus.com/products/StudioLive-AR16-USB
Soundcraft EPM12 (€ 290.00)
https://www.soundcraft.com/en-US/products/epm12
Allen & Heath ZED-14 (€ 402.00)
http://www.allen-heath.com/ahproducts/zed-14/
Please let me know your opinions on this mixers and which you think brings best quality and it's the most user friendly for recording hardware instruments inside Cubase.
Will appreciate any opinion and also you can suggest me any other mixer which is in this price range if you think would be good to consider buying.

I own a ZED 14 and couldn't be happier with it. I love the routing options, and all of those stereo outs.

Yeah when i saw it at first looked also very cool to me what i was missing though was no control room output so how you handle this using the aux outputs?thecontrolcentre wrote:I own a ZED 14 and couldn't be happier with it. I love the routing options, and all of those stereo outs.

I use the REC output, but its also possible to use the ALT outs, or connect direct to a computer via USB. The AUX sends are mono.Blisargon Demogorgon wrote:Yeah when i saw it at first looked also very cool to me what i was missing though was no control room output so how you handle this using the aux outputs?thecontrolcentre wrote:I own a ZED 14 and couldn't be happier with it.
