No, I know how to upload to Bandcamp. I know how to upload to Soundcloud. What I'm asking is mostly how to get it to work. I have tried uploading to Soundcloud, and it would crept counting time up, and up. It wouldn't stop. I tried to upload to band camp, found the files weren't FLAC, and couldn't change it to FLAC. this is what i need help with.

Maybe you first need to convert your wave/aiff file to a format that is bandcamp/soundcloud friendly? To know which format, check the bandcamp/soundcloud support pages. To convert the audio files, use a good converter tool. MuLab itself cannot yet save audio file as Flac or Mp3. (it can load mp3 samples, but not yet save)

I tried to convert to the files out of mulab, in a flac changer, and it failed. Is this a glitch, or should i find another file type to use?

I mean I tried to convert the flies out of the mulab folder. I first visited this website: http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-flac . I then clicked "choose file" under the "Upload your audio". I had a drop down menu, and went to my "all items" menu, and searched "mulab", and it brought up all of my mulab files. I then attempted to convert the audio, by clicking "convert audio". I waited for a little, about a minute, and got a message back saying that "the audio failed to convert", with a subtext I don't remember. I then proceeded to try and upload to soundcloud. The audio upload worked, but the audio length wouldn't sync correctly. It went from the correct length, up by a minute, up past the 10 min mark. I then realized it was not going to work, and deleted the files i attempted to upload.

I've been uploading stuff to Soundcloud as MP3 44Khz 128kbps for a while now. I use Goldwave to convert the WAV export from Mulab. I was using MP3's at 32Khz 320kbps but these files are considerably larger than the 44Khz version and don't sound much different. I don't go for top rate uploads on Soundcloud in case anyone's downloading it. I reserve the best quality WAV's for Bandcamp where it has to be purchased.

I did, and I still cannot upload. I have been doing it for awhile, and it doesn't work. What file does MULAB create?Michael L wrote:If you took the time to visit bandcamp support you would see it takes wav and aiff: https://bandcamp.com/help/uploading
I'm confused. Does it change files out of mp3, or to mp3.mutools wrote:You can also use the free WinLame to convert to mp3: https://winlame.sourceforge.io/
Thank you, but this confuses me. What should I do, because I don't particularly want to use Soundcloud i we can.FSM77 wrote:I've been uploading stuff to Soundcloud as MP3 44Khz 128kbps for a while now.
