One has to be of a certain age to appreciate it, and I'm clearly too old for that sh1t. So that's a +1 ;-)

Love it, I did a short "cover" of this back in the day, complete with rap, it was just for my answering machine. "What time'd you call.."
 Did you sample the same records? The guitar is from Ace Of Spades iirc ...

No no, it was a loose "cover" done in an afternoon for fun. TBH, I don't even remember how I put it together but I do know that I didn't sample the original sources. Come to think of it, I might have just been constructed from samples of the track itself cut where there were no vocals, which doesn't really make it a cover I guess. Well, except for the rap part which I rewrote to make a useful answering machine message. It's been too long, I can't remember the details. I might actually still have it somewhere in a box of tapes. Probably not. I think that it was before I had a DAT machine so I probably mastered straight to cassette because it was also before I had meaningful computer audio. So, chances are I tossed it a long time ago.

Enormous Scooter fan here! Personally I think the production on some of the late 90s / Early 2000s stuff is genius :D

I really dig their first 6 albums. From the next ones, a few tunes only.

Always wanted to see them live, and almost did one time, but the show was cancelled.

I only realised a few months ago that it was Glen Hughes doing the vocals on this version. :o

It was like a really bad version of Billy Idol.
