Today we are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the latest Cubase maintenance update, version 9.0.30.
The update provides fixes and improvements throughout several areas of the application. It also introduces a state-of-the-art video engine that is no longer based on Apple QuickTime. The new engine supports various codecs on both Windows and macOS.

Better do some research into issues with the new video engine and SB's lack of response before installing this if you use video.

Sorry if my question is out of topic but i just upgrade my Cubase le 5 to Cubase le 9 and it doesn't see Groove Agent One - where could be on Windows 8 cuz i thing it should be in a default vst list as HALionSonicSE but it isn't - what i miss ...update to 9.0.30 but probably its not located right or i miss something during the licensing process.Thanks.

I knows presonus has upgraded studio one's video and seems to be fine.

The big deal here is that Cubase is no longer dependent on QuickTime for video. I, for one, am pleased that Steinberg didn't wait for the.5 update to release this.
