Yes, if your DAW is like most DAWs where a MIDI track contains a VSTi taking in MIDI data and putting out audio.pascal020 wrote:Does Neutron also works as effect on midi tracks?

It might be overpriced @ $99, but how about $64? @audiodeluxe with their secret code
It doesn't seem to be as crippled as Ozone Elements

There is a trial on the Plugin Boutique site if you have an account. Having trialled it I would say it is a good trackstrip plugin at the least and well worth the money.

Flash sale price, and demo is here too (105 MB):

Edit: Just purchased.
Re the (Windows) Installer - it installs the 2015 MS Visual C++ library too. But I could not find the User Guide (I have emailed iZotope for a copy)

http://www.audiodeluxe.com has the sale for a few days too. They also have a 'SUMMER2017' coupon code that knocks another $4 off. For $25, it's pretty hard to turn down as it is a pretty cool plugin, especially as a learning tool. Also, it'll be a good upgrade path towards the standard or advanced version in the future should you want when that goes on sale and gets heavily discounted.
EDIT (Yet again): HOLD ON... MIGHT BE WRONG.

Where are you seeing that that crossgrade gets you Neutron Standard?sl1200mk2 wrote:EDIT: I see they already have a separate Crossgrade offer up to Neutron (Standard), RX Elements and Ozone 7 Elements for $79 and the same coupon codes takes $9 off that.
Way I read it, it gets you the other two Elements plugins when you already have one.
In that case it would have been even cheaper to have gotten each separately at their recent sale prices for a total of about $75 (with AD automatic discounts).

Could you please cofirm: what did you get through that link? What are the 4 plugins at 95 USD?EDIT: I see they already have a separate Crossgrade offer up to Neutron (Standard), RX Elements and Ozone 7 Elements for $79 and the same coupon codes takes $9 off that.

So combine all that and you get everything for $95 -- $5 less than the normal price of Neutron Elements alone. That's a really cheap way to get to Standard and two other plugins as well! Hopefully it works having just purchased (it should), but going to try myself.
EDIT #2: Yep.. it works. Got all 4 plugins for $95.94 -- solid deal.

Yeah guys, sorry, I'm wrong. It's not Neutron Standard. It's Elements...
I still got the other two plugins which I wanted, but if I could have gotten them a little cheaper, than that's stupid tax on me. I didn't own any until today, so still $95 for me for 3 plugins (no prior discounts).
Apologies for the confusion. $25 deal still applies for those wanting Neutron Elements alone.

Considering how little is missing compared to Neutron standard edition, yes, it's a very good price.nicksohn wrote:Is this good for $29?

No idea about extra presets, but this page includes a chart comparing Neutron Elements, Standard, and Advanced.

I just purchased it, and it is definitely worth the money at $30. The exciter alone is easily worth that amount. The transient designer is also superb. The ability to set the shape of the attack and sustain is really cool.
My only gripe is the lack of dynamic EQ. I was hoping to have an all in one plugin for vocal processing and de-essing. But, I'm still pretty pleased with the purchase.
