New wavetables added (>100 FM and analogue styles) for those that have bought in to my wavetable scheme. I've also been experimenting with other approaches to synthesis and the first batch of those (additive style) has also been added along with some MIDI basslines for use in the arpeggiator.

Hopefully you will have received the links by now.

For those interested in joining, I have extended the period for the reduced entry fee of £10 to the 30th September. From 1st October, this will go up to £20.

I've just uploaded some free wavetables to my site:

They are transfer functions that can be used for waveshaping (think Korg O1W, Prophecy etc.) and also as custom LFOs. They are part of 4 banks of 32 transfer functions (128 in total) available for purchase (£10) along with hundreds of other wavetables (and free lifetime updates) for DUNE2 that are also in wave format for use in other synths.
See the image beow for an idea of what they look like. There is a PDF in the download that shows all 128 transfer functions.

I've just uploaded DUNE2 wavetables for purchasers that allow you to do Yamaha style FM using wavetables. These are all the operators based on the OPL3 chip, the TX81z and SY99. The deal here is that you use audio rate modulation from another oscillator to change wavetable position thus allowing FM with waveforms that are not just sine waves. Each slot is the same waveform, but at different phases. You will need to set the modulation rate settings to above normal to get a decent sound. I'll upload some patches to get you going tomorrow.

Whilst these wavetables won't be so good for users of other synths, e.g., Serum I will post the equivalents tomorrow.

I've uploaded 47 patches for DUNE2 to each users area - mostly audiorate modulation stuff showing off the waveshaper and FM phase change wavetables. I hope you find them useful/usable!

Happy New Year everyone.

I spent quite a bit of Christmas working on new wavetables for DUNE2, Serum etc as well as recording from some of my hardware to make wavetables with. Some of the former wavetables are based on wave terrain synthesis (search Google if you have an interest in what this is

). The version that I have developed uses 3D wave terrains, as opposed to the more common 2d wave terrains.
