Calypso..I can't compete with that...
Please download this Flac, save to your harddrive, put on your headphones, set loop mode, enjoy.

If you're in for some badass bass and industrial loop music, enjoy...you can dance calypso elsewhere ;-)
I think I'm running out of time finishing it for the competition, so I just upload this unfinished fragment.
You can vote me finishing it, or give me some thumbs down then I won't spend more time.

Not yet the track for the zombie apocalypse but still I feel the urge to write a sound track to this video somehow. It's about hamburg 2017: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZV99jp8 ... freload=10

Huh, omg, this time I'll be very late in the game again!
I must say, Bjoern, blooo is such a nice "bread&butter" synth, I'm really impressed and excited to play with it. Your curious double stage solution is really kind of genius and I'm almost tempted to say that this one leaves little more to wish for. :tu:
...I've started with a few drums, a bass and some pads and it behaves almost boringly perfect! ...odd thing to say, is it?! But now the pressure is on to really show off with the blooo! I think, I'll go for a rather easy going track.
Somehow, I'm not sure if that's just my monitoring environment, headphones, I really don't know, but I feel like I can control the bass in powerful ways and got some intense bottom going. I hope this will translate well to other systems?!

Anyway, congrats on another brilliant synth! I'll try my best to do it justice, though there's little time left. Some killer stuff up there already! :phones:

Thanks Peter - glad I hit a few decent notes ....

Yeah Peter, some really really nice industrial sounds going on. Would sound awesome in some ambisonic rig for sure!

Best ambisonics I heard was one where there was 2 circular speaker rigs, with a delay between the 2 rigs. They started with just the internal rig on, and the sound (dance/EDM music!) was simply mind blowing - then they switched on the outer rig, and it was sort of like removing all the room boundaries - the sound just appeared to go on for ever unimpeded by any walls or ceilings. Simply amazing. Only heard it once as it required a lot of kit, and took a whole afternoon to "tune" the room. Was run by some musictech students.

The other ambisonic tale from my old place of work goes thus: They were talking to Sony about installing real ambisonics into iMax cinemas. It was a nice summers day, and they had the windows open in the ground floor seminar room. One Sony guy kept getting distracted now and then, peering out the window. He kept hearing a lawn mower go by. In the end they had to explain that some ambisonics were running the whole time of the seminar/meeting, and the mower was just one of the elements, along with birds, gentle wind, voices of people far away, etc ... When it's done right, it can be amazing.

Thanks for the feedback dB...ambisonic is on my todo list. Hope I find the time to experiment with it. I love room, width and depth and subtle elements everywhere in the virtual room of the listeners mind. I'm still searching for the perfect way to create the perfect space illusion...But with limited tools, i.e. no commercial plugins it's hard, I bet.
Can you probably share some ambisonic links or material, dB? Plugins? Would love to read more about it.

I played around with this the other day. Fun to automate the parameters for some advanced auto pan... Not really convincing for sounds behind you, at least not with synthetic sounds. Perhaps works better with a corresponding visual cue.

Back on topic: Haven't listened to any tracks yet but nice to see more people joining! Started to feel deserted here :) And warm welcome to Maaaaxim! My first post on KVR was also my OSC entry a while back :)

Aah, thanks !
I've been searching all around this, finally downloaded the SDK and all, but your link seems much more accurate than all i've downloaded !

Oculus Spatializer is nice, I have used it in OSC 100.l, https://soundcloud.com/p-e-t-e-r-h/pete ... n-in-space
But it's rather tedious to write automation for it.

It definitely does a good job there !

My entry - The Blooo Planet

blooo x 69

Standard Ableton DAW Effects (EQ Eight, Utility, Compressor, Reverb, Saturator, Simple Delay, Glue Compressor,Limiter,Auto Filter)

Other effects:
Sleepy-Time Records Transient
Ignite Amps PTEq-X (Pulteq EQ)
Roth-AIR ('Air' effect)
Auburn Sounds Panagement(Stereo Expander)
BlueArp (Arpeggiator)

Drums plus a handful of other sounds from scratch, rest are modified factory.

Great sounding synth, probably I have went overboard with the effects, perhaps next time I will try one without any FX :)

At this page check the "news" item and you'll find 2 great tutorials on how to set up and use the ATK in REAPER. Also aimed at binaural, which is what we would use here primarily!

Might try some stuff myself for the next OSC - but depends on the synth and what genre I will attack next :hihi:

EDIT 30.08.2017 - Thru deep space radio the aliens have sent an update which I uploaded to soundcloud immediately

I have observed an epic battle: Techno Aliens battle Bass Music Zombies with their used tooth brushes.
The outcome is rather unexpected - a pile of empty tooth paste tubes and a lot of dancing zombies and aliens...
As the aliens had to leave early because they were interrupted by some calypso dancing vampires and felt somehow disturbed...therefore the battle is not fought out compeltely and is to be continued in the future:
