A multiplier is a great effect to bias with an LFO.

fxpansion Maul has two LFOs, an envelope follower, and a sample and hold. And it sounds great, with a ton of analogue modeled distortion and saturation types. One of my favorites

It's a fairly elaborate design for modulation. It also does audio-rate modulation.

Weird that no-one has mentioned FF Saturn yet, which is by far the most powerful one in this regard.

I’ve never warmed up to Saturn yet. Sometimes it seems like too much work or it’s too subtle or my head’s not in the right place. Same with Volcano, I know there’s a lot there, but I can never find it.

Dent 2 seems comparably powered and is capable of far less subtlety

Melda has several. What I think they are nice for are people that really wanna dig deep and mess with a lot of parameters. I think they are to be avoided by people that want typical, quick and done, effects. Even their 'simple' GUI option, I dont think excels at that.
