Is there a Vst to split up a midi chord into different channels?

I would do this in my modular environment of choice, Plogue Bidule.
But I believe you can do it in InsertPizHere's midiPolyphony - the developer's page looks to be down at the moment (for ever?) but the packages were trawled by archive.org earlier this year..

Alternatively, if you use Reaper, Kawa made a script (available from his ReaPack repo) that lets you do this in the piano roll, called "Assign Channel by Chord Tones." The catch is that this only works after it's already recorded, so it doesn't let you do it on the fly while playing.

Not sure if it needs a roli seaboard, but their dashboard application does basically that. Not sure what other MPE controllers use, linnstrument / eigenharp / continuum / soundplane ... all of them have that functionality though.
