I am really stuck choosing midi controller or wavestation

so at the end which package can you advise for me to buy? I have ipad but only knew few about the korg's vst. Are there other sound bundles for example? I want to use a lightweight controller and akai seemed very professional to me. and for the gig, I guess I must buy now also an audio interface, by the way THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS GUYZ

Not clear from your comments if you plan to use a computer, or the iPad, or both to make music.
