I have heard very little about PA Nvelope, nor seen any review. This is a little strange given the reverence for the hardware version.

Any experience or comments about the software plugin?

I just looked up this plug. Not familiar with it either. I just listened to the Audio Samples and sounds damn good. @ $199 I'm sure that I'm looking for it to take the place of my current fav from NI Transient Master. According to the description it is more than just a Transient shaper. Hopefully someone can contribute.

I have and use this plugin and it is by far one of the best sounding imo. I have demo'd all the big name and lesser known transient designers.

Just try the demo, read the manual and see how you like it.

Hoping the devs might spot this...

Is there any chance of adding a MIX pot for this plugin?

cheers

It's absolutely amazing. One of the best possible transient designer you'll meet around. I've read a lot of times that it's one of the few that work on full mixes, and not only on single tracks. Maybe it's what makes it special.

Also make sure you try XLN DS-10 Drum Shaper if you're comparing transient plugins.

It can be used as an Eq as well, brilliant plugin.

I love transient shapers. Use all the time. I tried them all, literally. Nvelope and Sonnox are by far the best of the bunch. I use Nvlope for subtler tasks and Sonnox for more significant effects. These two are my secret weapons. Dont tell anybody .... :)

It is a good plugin for sure, as everything Elysia does. It does it’s transient shaping differently. So you still find a use for your other shapers, but it does bring its own thing to the game and opens your options up.

Another transient shaper that opens up your options is the Smack Attack, except it goes about it in offering you more control over how those transients and tails are getting shaped.

i love it.
but there are often times where i want to fashion an extreme sound, then mix it in with the dry, but alas, no mix knob.

Same here. Nvelope and Envolution is a deadly duo for any flat sound.
