So I'm working on an idea along the lines of this concept:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSVHjew ... WL&index=2
Except I want my sound source to be samples. I want different samples to be triggered at random intervals.
I've loaded the basic sampler module and populated it with 4 samples, mapped to 4 midi notes (0,1,2,3). Everything else is routed the same as in the video above, with the obvious exception of the sampler instead of the triangle oscillator. I also altered the Selector to only have 4 inputs, and the Range on the Randomizer to look through the 4 positions. I also got rid of the envelope to simplify the signal path.
Everything works. HOWEVER. For some reason the pitch of each sample is being altered. I can't figure it out. The Selector Curvature is set to 'None', so it should just be selecting between the fixed midi notes, 0-4. Within the sampler itself, all 4 samples play as intended.
What am I missing??
Heres a screen shot of my work:

Hi, sorry I can’t help but I recommend very active Reaktor Users Facebook page. You are bound to get some detailed and quick responses there.

hey
remove the output of selector from the P input of the sampler
then right click on the P input and select 'create constant'
that should give you pitch of MIDI note 60 for all samples
you can learn how to play with that later...
hope that helps
