All the links posted earlier are really comprehensive! One not mentioned is Kirnu Cream that has interesting midi-controlled parameters such as a 'Random' Pattern change. If you use Logic, it has the awesome Scripter:

Does Midi Madness do real-time midi creation or manipulation?geqfreq wrote:https://beta.midimadnesssoftware.com/midi-madness-3
It claims "live playback" which is not the same thing?

Google: https://www.logicscripts.net
Buy Wotja that has ~120 (and a very limited free version)
Or collaborate with a script writer like Eno does....

I totally love hy-seqcollection and mostly use the HEXA sequencer there. Fun fun fun. I think (not at my machine now) every parameter is automatable. MOAR FUN

I recall trying to demo Stochas and running into stability problems so I chucked it. Looking at the videos it looks interesting though, maybe it's worth another go.
Similarly, I didn't pay any attention to "sundog" because of the stupid name, and I stand by that assessment. Still, it seems to have some potential.
I have demoed Nodal before, but, I'm concerned that it's going to end up abandoned and with it being C/R, that's a problem. Version 2.0 has been promised for about three years now, in the next year and the dev states that interest is a function of income from the product.
On Kirnu Cream, there is a CM version of it, at least, in CM210. I haven't played with it, but I guess I will since I have that edition.
I have more notes on this, but, I just wanted to make a comment in the thread so that it shows up highlighted in the list. More later.

I am testing Stochas on Reaper Win10 and it is fine so far. I like it a lot. MidiMadness looks excellent as well but is a bit too expensive for meghettosynth wrote:I recall trying to demo Stochas and running into stability problems so I chucked it. !Epoch would be best of all if it ever came out - I am starting to doubt that it will

1. I am considering Thesys
https://sugar-bytes.de/en/thesys
On the iPad it seems very small to use.
Is the Windows version multi-touch capable?
Is being multi-touch beneficial to using Thesys?
2. Wotja by Intermorphic
It seems that Wotja is the way to go. Now get the Windows or the iPad version? https://intermorphic.com/wotja/
Are the Windows products multi-touch capable and is it beneficial for them to be multi-touch?
Their iPad apps are multi-touch I suppose but is this feature beneficial to using this product.
Any comments or reviews on these products are welcome.

I don't know, but I'll try to give it a whirl later. I got it from MF for $10. It wasn't a download purchase, they shipped me out a DVD cover with a card inside. The card had the serial number, for the download.Kalamata Kid wrote:1. I am considering Thesys

Easy decision because there is no Windows version. Wotja is only available on iOS and MacOS which is basically the only reason I own an iPad.Kalamata Kid wrote:2. Wotja by Intermorphic

Steve
It seems that there will be a Wotja for Windows but is noted as TBD.
https://intermorphic.com/mixtikl/#faq-mtwinnovst-p
So get Wotja 5 for the iPad? Release 1-1-18.
$30. No introductory offer?
EDIT:
I will answer my own qeustion
It seem the pre-order price is $15
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1281471637
I do wonder if the Wotja iOS version is the the same as the Mac version.
My main concern is that it looks very complicated.
Does it require a midi keyboard?
Is it Core Midi compatible.
Is multi-touch a benefit to Wotja?
Thansk to VariKusBrainZ for the Thesys info.

It seems to me that neither Thesys nor the Intermorphic software produce any chord progressions. They generate only single notes?
Is this correct?
