right now near bottom is NI as they haven't responded to request all week and never respond to Guitar Rig 6 questions.
I also don't like companies that have plugins for $299 regular price and sale is $29.
Mean what you say and say what you mean.
Don't be mean l

Zynaptiq without a shadow of doubt, I wrote to them asking them to if they could set up an upgrade path for the Design bundle as I have Adaptiverb and Wormhole and wanted to purchase Morph. Denis responded by sending me Morph for free which I thought was really sweet and nice of him.
Great plugins and great person. Check out Morph here.

My picks in no particular order:
- Fabfilter
- kiloHearts (the most underrated plugs IMHO in its category)
- Audio DMG
- D16 (another relatively underrated company but superb products)
- Kush
- Audio Damage
- PSP
- Eventide
- Cytomic
- ohmForce
- Voxengo
A bit overrated (though still very very good plugins, but a high on price and have cheaper and equally quality, if not better, alternatives):
- Waves
- iZotope
- Soundtoys (are those guys ex Waves employees?)
- Native Instruments FX stuff
