It's quite different , not cut-down Predator.
However currently I can't load it in RP Prisma I think that will be a future update. Also lacks the "big screen"option to big gui...
Anyway - each RP instrument is special, this version 2 is a great step forward

Naa. I considered the first version, but it's basically a cut down version of Predator, with a few extra samples. I don't really understand the point, but I guess they make money out of it.

I watched the video but apart from the x/y thing and some 'string' synthesis there doesn't appear to be much difference to v1?

Well, I own Predator 2. I downloaded the demo of SubBoomBass, tried out the synth, and that is how I know, good sir.

That does not prove they re-used the same code. And that was a rhetorical question not needing an answer. You do not know and have no way of really knowing this.
