I didn't say that it would sound bad. But it wouldn't be THE Triaxis sound people usually expect (which is with 2:90 most often, or less often 2:50) - and that can be a huge selling point for you guys.

Sure. I cannot guarantee this is going to happen, but I personally would love to see it one day!

Owning U530 and Spark...

I may be wrong, but it seems that Mercuriall has two "homebrew" (or perhaps just not mentioned) poweramps that they use with all their releases so far (U530, Spark). So they model the preamps and use their own poweramps to wrap everything up. It can only be bypassed in U530 (to mimic the function of the real unit), but it would definetely be a nice option to have in the other plugins for those who want to use a real poweramp (not me, lol).

On one side, I'd like the emulations to be faithful and I find it very strange that the U530 has MESA cabs but doesn't have ENGL cabs. Now the ReAxis doesn't have a MESA cab... weird . At least Spark has a Marshall cab but the ones with V30's and G12T-75s are Bogner's... If this is due to limited resources (maybe they just have those two cabs and buying more is not profitable at this moment), I wonder why don't they swap speakers on the available cabs for more cabinet versatility... That's a hell of a lot better than the "EQed cabs" they added in Spark 1.1 that are completely useless to me since the regular ones just sound better and have more bass than most other IRs out there... But hey, what the hell do I know! :ud:

On the other side, all the stuff they put out sounds awesome and I couldn't tell what poweramp is in there even if my life depended on it

I think they should streamline their catalog and use a common interface for them. ReAxis seems more inline with Spark, but I don't think users may want to spend 60$ in the U530 right now as it is, when 90$ can get you stompboxes and FX as well with the ReAxis. Mercuriall has gone the extra step of adding pretty graphics to the stompboxes, so maybe they're preparing for a future suite (Amp One's big brother?). Since Helix Native disappointed so many people and S-Gear won't probably get updated until 2035, it would definetely be best in class.

To me, Mercuriall's biggest downside is the price. Their plugins are very expensive compared to the competition (a Thermionik amp costs 12$, for example). Compare that to 60$ for the U530 or 90$ for the ReAxis. In fact, Spark is actually the best value if you consider it has 4 amps for 120$. Low sales volume at high prices, I guess. But honestly, I think that if they added a Fender and a VOX and bundled all into a single suite for maybe 200$ it would sell like hotcakes. Just call Ola Englund to demo it! :hihi:

PS: Ok, now I want a Mercuriall AC30...

Do you know a product emulating the 2:90 amp until Mercuriall provide one? (if they do it later)
I'll use Wall of Sound from TwoNotes for the 4x12 Mesa cab, I'd like to recreate a complete Mesa setup.

Just wanted to say: there will be a Mesa cab in v1.0 =)

Can you drag the 7-segment LED displays to change the parameter values, or do you really have to click left-right buttons like crazy? :D

This was an instant buy for me. Only spent a few minutes with demo to know that this will not disappoint.
IMHO, the quality is in completely different universe compared to other Mark series sims. I especially love the sharp and punchy attack response.
I recommend reading the original manual for Triaxis while exploring Reaxis: http://www.mesaboogie.com/media/User%20 ... 091007.pdf
Mesa writes such awesome manuals and tells a lot of interesting things inside. And Reaxis totally feels like the real deal.
There is such an amazing variance of sound even from subtle parameter tweaking. I spent almost an hour just playing around with the first rhythm channel, and the range of tones is huge - from very clean atmospheric sounds, to sparkling cleans for powerful strumming, to darker crunch sounds, even to AC/DC-like hard rock rhytms, etc. And they all sound and respond differently, not like in some other sims it feels like you're just making small EQ adjustments and that's it. And I barely yet even touched other channels.
It's the best thing that I got for this Christmas.
And btw, yes, you can drag LEDs to set values.

Yaaaay! Out indeed =)

Well, we had to mimic the original, so...

Just joking. Yes, you can :D

Great news!

I could not find on your site how your copy protection (if any) works. Where can I find that information, or what can you tell me about it?
