Are you more interested in 1980s Synthwave or circa 2000 Synthwave? They are different.

In terms of user interface it hardly gets more authentic than the U-NO-LX in my view. If only it had a few features that go beyond the original, like a second envelope...

Especially DM OMD Erasure

Italo disco artists like modern talking, fancy

90's like haddaway, bad boys blue

But then again I like Kavinsky, M83, TimeCop... basically I want a fusion of most of these influences and do my own take on Synthwave

Is Bazille suited for Synthwave and any other good Synths or Synthwave?
