Got immediately blacklisted by Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 7. Unblacklisted it and Cubase crashed.

Restarted cubase and tried it - closed cubase. Tried to re-open cubase and it wouldn't.

Uninstalled and cubase seems fine.

Someone previously said it was fine with 9.5, maybe I'll retry in the new year when I update.

2nd hand I know someone with Cubase 9.5 and W7 also had the same experience as you. Steinberg did say that it doesn't work with Cubase on the Mac, do any Windows Cubase users have it working?

I assume you mean NI.
ON PC, I only have Nuendo (not Cubase) and its on Windows 10 Pro.
Works without issue there, but indeed on mac, cubase it causes cubase to crash currently. They are working on a fix.

no, doesn't work here either, cubase 9.5 and win7. it gets blacklisted and trying to reactivate it crashes cubase. i also had crashes in live 9 when i wanted to delete the plugin, when i unticked the user data tracking the crashes upon deleting the plugin stopped. sadly, this doesn't prevent cubase from crashing :(

ok, thanks for confirming I'm not alone in this.

To be frank what I heard when it did work didn't wow me but it did sound nice.

I expect it will be sorted out eventually

I had similar issues with Replika and Cubase, turned out to be GPU drivers.

NI refused to offer support on a free product.

Steve Duda from Xfer ended up sorting it out for me (looooong story).

I've just posted on the NI board - I think so far all replies to the announcement post by NI are variations on "it doesn't work".

A few pages ago I mentioned it works fine for me in Cubase (Artist) 9.5 on Windows 10. No issues whatsoever. It just works.. GUI works, size scales correctly, and audio processed with it sounds very nice!

Replika had issues initially too but they eventually sorted them.. at least on my PC they did. That is another really nice plugin.. and the XT model became my go-to delay. So add the serial for the phaser to your account and let it percolate for a couple of months if it isn't working for you would be my suggestion. Check back later..

But they are quite happy for you to jump thru hoops via the nonservice center... how ironic

NI are one of the biggest vst companies ever....that doesnt fill me with confidence. It tells me they are money grabbing c**ts who are taking the piss.

Is this your first NI product?
If the acquisition process keeps getting worse, the question will be,

'Is this your last NI product?'

Is this is the first time that an NI installer download is not supplied,
with the install processed entirely using a registration app?
And one that defaults to user-tracking turned ON?
I've got installers for Razor and Prism, is their one for Phasis
lurking somewhere, now that it's installed?

But in this case they don't appear to be doing any money grabbing?

They might be one of the bigger software companies, but they are tiny compared to a lot of other music companies. And absolutely minute compared to a lot of companies.

So like all companies they've made a mistake. I'm sure they didn't intentionally send out something that didn't work so I can't quite understand the need for profanities.
