Sounds like the warm-up phase of an orchestra before the concert :hihi:
They were warming up for this:

Orbit Jam

A Midi sequence recorded in Logic (octaves and fifths, root B-flat) is triggering Aparillo, incoming pitches are quantized to a scale within Aparillo, tweaking the Orbit morphing and other things on the fly.

It sounds dizzying, how many instances did that take? Hard to say which sounds come from one instance...
That may be me

Yes It may be easier to take the atonal-sound-FX-road with this one but when "tamed" it can beacome a very lively and musical instrument
What a incredibly inspirationnal tool (I may be biased though :P )

No, you're not biased. You're dead on the money. This thing is my synth of the year.
How does this fit in your prog rock taste?
You become experimental while growing older!

I don't like that so much, too chopped up, no musical flow in my view...

Really nice work Simon! I remember when I was younger and was listening to Burl Ives "A Holly Jolly Cristmas" after a tab of LSD, and it sounded exactly like what you did there. Thanks for the journey man!!!

Prog rock is just one of the many genres that I love. The last 2 years alone I did the following CDs.

The Vocaloids A Little At A Time (Pop)
Once Upon A Time (Broadway)
M (Pop)
The Lost Tapes III (Experimental)
The Reflecting Pool (Experimental)
Back Together Again III (Pop)
Glitch (EDM)
Guitars From Hell (Hard Rock)
The Dungeon Masters (Prog Rock)
No Signal (Rock)
A Whole Lotta Country (Country)
80s Squared (80s Synth Pop)
Resisting The Temptation (Symphonic Metal)
Bananas Crackers And Nuts (Various)
Amp It Up (Hard Rock)
Sins Of The Father (Rock)
Botany Bay (Experimental)
V Pop (J-Pop)

So as you can see, I'm into a lot of different things.

:hihi: Thanks. LSD never clicked with me, I tried it once and then spent 3 days on the too of a sauna roof laughing my head off.

Thank you, polytimbralism in Aparillo is possible because the modulation system allows for only modulating every second or third note with a given source, that can produce many different tones within a single patch.

Did someone mention LSD? Mop ups, pinky dips of white fluff, Czech criss, oh yeah..... I think I just had a flashback.

Sounds like you clicked just fine to me :D  (my particular favourite music for trips was usually Herb Alpert).

Nice demo by the way
