Thanks Hink.
I'll be deleting (re-editing) the words from all my posts in this thread anyway, as promised, shortly: the refund is just being processed currently.
Hink wrote:ok I'm not going to go clean up the posts, it was resolved which is beneficial for the developer to show he was willing to resolve it. There is however no reason to continue this so please drop it all around because from here I will delete posts about Dark Water's "issue"...ty

Just a comment on this: I am afraid I can’t promise it will be processsed so fast. I asked you to please close the paypal complaint so we could solve it ourselves; but since you instead actually escalated it, it’s out of my hands and Paypal will deal with it after january the 17th if I interpreted their message correctly. Had you closed it you would have had your refund yesterday. Also; to say R3 differs ”20%” is not really true either as lots of changes and improvements were done. I would say that it is a much more refined soundbank. I personally find it much more inspiring to use as finding the best sounds is much easier.

Now for all others — welcome going back to our demos and check the patchlist pdf. A cool user video should be upcoming shortly as well. Happy holidays!

I got info that they’d closed it now so perhaps a little new years’ cleaning in this thread could be done. I guess I will have to add some italian salt as well.

Happy new year and so then! ;-)

This thread was kind of destroyed, mildly put — but perhaps the essence of things can be discussed with positivity and enthusiasm. I keep working and I can say that this is a wonderful soundbank, don’t miss it! :-) Also don’t miss that it’s available as separate ten buck packs as well.

The individual Lost In The Fairlight Maze packs are also available for just $10 each.

Here's just one of the packs playing; number 13 - "Sublime Chimes".

Here's a few more sounds used in my remix of Small Talk with Scritti Politti.

I work extremely hard with the sounds and they are not just an "80's" bank at all.

Happy new year! :D

I bought it a few month ago! This is excellent stuff! I recommend not to buy the single $10 packs as you want all once you try out! :hihi:

I mostly play/practice real piano atm which is very time consuming (2-4 hours a day).. ..but still love those sounds so i snatch up to at least play around with the libs and at best collecting ideas.

That’s great! :) I’m just curious to hear some new music from the dear users. On my sc there’s two playlists with such things though btw. And my own piano track from the other night as well ;)

- sc slash bitleytm ;)

Thanks. I was playing with my XP80 as controller & instantly turned my chair to the Korg SP170 and just aah, these are more like piano keys and inspiration struck. Reason & their piano plug sounding. Stunning stuff.

Patrick, I bought your Fairlight collection about 3 years ago and loved it. Have you thought about making a collection available for Arturia's Fairlight?

All sounds are Fairlight library instruments, with added effects.
Best listened to on headphones :phones:

Always fun to hear my sounds in a new way :-) Great work. Bit "bassy" but cool.
