I was done with this guy anyhow, and you know i wouldnt say it if i didnt mean it.

But let me just say one last thing, only to put things in perspective here.

He came into this thread just to post stupid crap four times.

That was his choice, nobody forced him to do that.

He did it the first time, i said nothing.

He did it a second time, i said nothing.

He did it a third time, i said nothing.

When he did it a fourth time ive simply had enough of it because he was obviously under the impression that he can just keep swinging by once or twice a day to interrupt this thread with his rather lame attempts at ridicule and nothings gonna happen.

Because you know how i feel about this stuff. This is a public forum, not anyones private playground. Some us are trying to have a thread here, and i wasnt gonna wait for the 5th round of snide remarks.

Thats all, subject's closed as far as im concerned.

Airwindows Iron Oxide 5 is as close to magic pixie dust on drums as I've been able to get in the box. You can beef up your kick, add some gritty rumble to your toms, add some gnarly bite to your snare, smooth out your overheads, crush those room mics, and glue it all together on the drum buss. And even this old CPU barely notices the load. (ToTape, and especially FromTape, can be more subtle if that's your thing).

Also, VoS SlickHDR is pretty interesting on the master buss. It's like HDR photography, but for your audio. I don't really know how else to explain what I hear with it.

Math is magic, you Muggle.
No! Math is poetry.
Sorry, but according to Donald Duck, it's magic:

Can you top that level of authority? I think not.
Ok, I know when I am beaten.
Now I propose it is poetry too.

A few days ago I ran by accident a very basic DUNE 2 arp patch through a certain ValhallaUberMod preset. And got a very close impression of the strings from Radiohead's Burn The Witch. :o 8)

Magic enough for me... :D

Don't be silly, plugins are not magic.

For Logic folks, Silver Comp on default settings, instant as it gets on his own, try this combo on bass. (adjust "Order" on Phaser to taste) 8)

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here? :D ShawnG

This post has awaken my interest because I'm a really BIG fan of MBV :hyper: :tu:

You can achieve this swooping effect with every synths and samples in your daw modulating the pitchbend automation curve. I do this very often. Super easy.

Not so easy on the old geetar though. I could do it the proper Kevin Shields way with the whammy bar etc, but for more control I like the plug-in, and the sound of it too.

Easy to use plugin for vocals? http://www.jhudstudio.com/paid-plugins

Vocal king is super fast for making vocals shine in clarity and stand in the mix. Don't believe me try it. Windows and Mac.

VK-2Knob is the little brother of the vocal king. Windows only for now. Less control but fast easy results.

Airwindows IronOxide5 and Audiothing TypeA are pretty awesome magic-makers.
