just M1 and Wavestation vst - or should you get the complete Korg collection?

I just bought the Wavestation. I listened to a bunch of M1 patch run-throughs and I think the Wavestation is more versatile, less dated, and fills a niche in my arsenal (long evolving pads). I will probably pick it up the M1 at some point, but in the mean time there are potentially better rompler options such as Xpand!2.

Your ability to edit the sounds in Xpand!2 are way more limited compared to the M1. But when there's another $1 sale on Xpand!2, you might as well go for it.

I think it sounds so deep because of the two pulse waves you chose, and the unison.
And good luck fitting that into the mix

Considering he has a site where he actually rates synths for the sounds they do, that seems a little bit paradox.
