I actually found that refreshing and a savvy marketing strategy by MOOG.Daags wrote: there were dudes who were genuinely outraged that the moog promo vid for this featured all women.
And the DFAM sounds cool too.

i honestly didn't even notice until i saw some neckbeards raging about it. if it causes consternation amongst the neckbeard fraternity, i am all for it.Jonny Quest wrote:I actually found that refreshing and a savvy marketing strategy by MOOG.Daags wrote: there were dudes who were genuinely outraged that the moog promo vid for this featured all women.

It's OffTopic but since we are close to the subject i want to mention a trend i see here on KVR. On a daily basis (almost) i see people post things like ' when the drummer is doing xxxx then He is having too much latency' or 'whenever a dev puts so and so feature He is making the plug in better" or 'when the mix engineer uses so and so plug in then He is getting a so and so mix.' If we want more women involved in the art and craft of music software and creation of electronic music then perhaps we can make some space for them in our language. Just a thought.
On topic, i bet it sounds good, it's Moog. Aside from the third ENV Gen i don't see an advantage of using this in a complex rig (hard or soft) over any other Moog synth. Of course if you don't have any Moog than this is possibly a good place to start, you can use it like any synth. As a stand alone it makes sense because it has the sequencer built in.
Ah knobs, jacks, and potentially wires, 3D instruments are fun.
