Cheers and thanks a lot. :-)
I will Check the sound tomorrow and will let you know what's wrong.

I also saw your soundcloud post in another thread. Did you do it with Rapid? Sounds amazing. :-)
Okay, that was my fault and I fixed it.

Here is the fixed preset:

The last step is to finally assemble everything, which takes a while. I was hoping to release it in 2017 but more realistically, with all the holidays coming, it will probably be finished in early 2018.
But it will look nice and there will be a bunch of themes provided by us.

You talking about my track "It's" [1] ? No sorry, no Rapid, but thanks for the flowers...
I'm doing to many OneSynthChallenge Tracks these days and this track was done with one brand of free synth only. In the meantime to OSC all my precious toys are waiting on the harddrive, but your amazing expansion told me I should invest more time in Rapid...d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y. Amazing synth!
And yes, almost forgot it - thanks for the fix! :D

Yes, this one is really nice. Great job! ;-)

I really love the lead-sound from the track "Calvin Harris - Slide". He made a video where he shows how he made the track. The leadsound is from "Prophet" and I tried to rebuild it with RAPID. I think the result is not bad...

Love your lead-sound...And I'm completely stunned by Rapid. For instance, I just grabbed me some Melotron samples form http://sonicbloom.net/de/kostenlose-sb- ... n-samples/ and imported a whole directory - the famous Choir- in just one go into Rapid and voila I have a beautiful Tron Choir now...
And as I just bought Trance Extension I'm trying to figure out how you did the stuff. Man that's simply amazing. I was definitely doing to many One Synth Challenges with only limited synths. This is real fun pro stuff!

Yeah great. Just ask me what you would like to know and I will explain it here. Maybe other users could also benefit from it. ;-)

Hi dear Rapid Enthusiast,

as I've mentioned that I used a Mellotron Sample pack to easily upload a multisample int Rapid...Just wanted to share the "result" with you. But actually I'm not quite sure how this realy would work. What I've done now is to locate a.) the imported multisample and b.) the patch using this multisample. What I don't know is, how you can get this into your environment.
Anyway, here's the files
1.) The content File: https://www.dropbox.com/s/59ltfgzrnyohj ... d.zip?dl=0
2.) The Patch File: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gluvl277cxon5 ... h.fxp?dl=0

And by the way - please don't expect a meticulously designed patch and sample content. As I've said I just grabbed a set of free samples (which are not looped) and imported them into Rapid and used it in a patch...but anyway, I love this sound...hope you can use the files and "import" them into Rapid easily.
Disclaimer: I don't own these samples. I grabed them from http://sonicbloom.net/de/kostenlose-sb- ... n-samples/. Please check out yourself, if you can use them...

I see on that same website they have CMI samples, I may have to check out those too. Thanks for the heads up. 8)

Hi Peter great track! Which Synth was used in this track?
@surreal - Thanks for your nice feedback. It was done with the fullbucket FB-3x00 series of synths.

Post

Did you make to the presets for those synths? Do you mind sharing them if you did make them?

surreal wrote:Did you make to the presets for those synths? Do you mind sharing them if you did make them?
Hi surreal,

sure, I can export the presets. I will PM you, don't want to take over this RAPID thread. It should stay focused on RAPID. Please all check out the Trance Expansion - It's so amazing sound design...really cool!

About the presets: Be warned, I can imagine that you're going to be disappointed because I would say only 50% of the sound of "It's" is the presets, the rest is Mixing and FX. Meaning if you have the presets, they won't give you the same sound that's in the track. That dark drum in the intro for instance, that is two slightly different instance of the same patch paned left and right to give that stereo width, exactly the same is true for the high blips later in the track...Apropos stereo width...I love to use the ultra width trick described here: http://www.masteringtuition.com/index.php/secret-no-1.

Now back to RAPID ;-)

Best regards

Hi Peter,

thanks a lot again. ;-) If you would like to publish your library, you have to do...

1. go into the RAPID osc browser where you find your lib and select it.
2. go on the INFORMATION-tab and scroll down
3. click on PUBLISH and RAPID will generate a Zip file

I don't know if you did it this way but I can't import your zip.
