Hi,
Could someone explain how this works in the modulation section please?

It's in the manual. Page 33.

Keyfollow2 ignores the pitch bend wheel. So, Keyfollow1 is a combination of modulation sources keyfollow and pitchbend.
You can easily test with white noise, high resonance and modulation keyfollow1/2 to cutoff.

Thanks for the replies.
I was on page 33 but can someone explain this in a more rudimentary way please, as there's no explanation of 'Key Follow' ?
What is the difference between Key Follow 1 & 2?
I was basically checking out a patch... 'Nightclubbing'... (Iggy Pop,The Idiot?) in the Seq -Percussive section,
and was trying to breakdown how the sound was being made,
that's when I came across 'Key Follow' in the modulation?

Where is that feature? I can't seem to find it

Can't put it more rudimentary thanHemmick Reef wrote:more rudimentary
Likewise, Keyfollow is keyboard tracking + pitch bend added together (like in most synths, I hope).Chris-S wrote:Keyfollow2 ignores the pitch bend wheel.

So it's simply using the 'Keyboard amount' as a modulation source?

Maybe an obvious question... but why is keyboard amount called key follow?

Ah, found it, on the Tweaks page...fluffy_little_something wrote:Where is that feature? I can't seem to find it
(Btw, what I find hard to see is the setting of those three tiny pots in the envelope sections. There is only one dot (the default I suppose), and that on the "scale" rather than on the knob.)

So, you have this feature twice. One is the keyboard amount in the filter section modeled after the vintage hardware and there is the keyfollow in the Performance/Modulation section which was added by u-he (not available on the hardware).
Sometimes even a simple synth is complicated....

Oh, there, the little switches on the Tweaks page must be something else, then...

keyboard amount is Sequ.Circuits terminology, keyfollow is u-he terminology.Hemmick Reef wrote:Maybe an obvious question... but why is keyboard amount called key follow?
