GUI scaling is nice. Sort of thought we'd see more features in the next update though. But maybe the GUI stuff was a lot of work.

Rock! Can't wait to check it out! I was hoping to see mind reading for preset creation and a telekinetic powered orb but I will settle for this.

Just noticed this as one of the improvements:
MIDI CC learn and host automation can now be used for parameters
controlled by menus and radio buttons
That actually might be huge as it could allow for example assigning the waveform selector to a hardware control and things like that. I'll see after the update is installed.

Nope. The waveform selector is not one of the menus that has become automatable. Well that's a big bummer.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Just noticed this as one of the improvements:

I'm kind of disappointed Trillian didn't get any GUI love.

Scaling is useful, the standalones need work. Take too long to load and some dialogues get misplaced (eg sort appears in the top left corner not where it should be) - And where do you setup audio/midi? (ah found it - under 'view' and outside the plugin interface of all things, not settings or preferences)

unexpected free updates are always the best. Scaling was all I personally wanted in Omnisphere (I run trillion in it).
Thank you

Nice update, scaling is very welcome (not for Stylus though sadly) and standalone versions will come in handy from time to time. Mildly irritating to discover that all third party libraries are now folded into User Directories, adding an extra click each time. First World problems etc.

Question to anyone using Stylus with the new update...
One thing that always drives me nuts with Stylus is when I change a sound in multi output mode the corresponding multitrack channel in the mixer reverts back to the A channel, unlike Omnisphere. Has this been corrected so that it stays on the same output channel after changing the sound?

Welcome to the club!
No, I don't want Omnisphere still, but I do want all the plugins in the world to have scalable GUI

Not using the recent update yet, but to prevent this, when choosing a preset on a channel set to a different output, press the "Settings" button (so it's not illuminated), and then choose the loop - it won't reset the output back to A then.kelvyn wrote:Question to anyone using Stylus with the new update...

Edit: Just installed the update - the plugin version hasn't changed, they just added a standalone app for this. The behaviour is the same, therefore.
