Are the current IK customers who own Syntronik going to get an email from IK regarding the bonus content or are they going to have to discover it by chance as I did on kvr?

There was discussion about getting a proper notification out to all owners of the product regarding updates and bonus content but I don't know what became of it.

Yes, going forward from that last discussion registered users will receive notification of bonus content and product updates as long as they have not chosen to be excluded from ALL emails from IK.

I can typically inform people faster via my presence on forums, not my fault that I'm faster than the people who send out emails

Is there an easy way to check whether the three bonus content files have installed properly. I rather routinely get a Windows message that the the a given install “may not have installed properly”. That message is usually incorrect, but is there a quick way to verify that with these packs? I installed them to my SampleTank 3 folder, which was the default chosen by the installer and I assume they went to the right place....but when I look at the dates next to the applicable “Instruments” and “Samples” subfolders, they reflect my original install date(s), not the dates on which I installed the bonus content.

My download came with the files available separately in folders outside of the installer. I just looked in there at the .sti file names and checked from within Syntronik to see if those names showed up. I too got the "may not have installed properly" error message but the files were properly installed.

Is there a list somewhere that shows the new files in the bonus content ? If not that would be helpful since you want to check out the new sounds but unless you have memorized all the content it's hard to find the new content in among the old content.

Anyway looking at the .sti file names in a separate window will allow you to find the new sounds in Syntronik's browser. Clunky but it works......

To export preset lists from the instrument folders in the installer, this is a quick way to export paths from a Windows folder.

You can simply paste the list into Excel (or LibreOffice), as follows:

1. Open Windows Explorer and select the source folder (you will need to drill down until you see .st3i files).
2. Select all items.
3. Choose "Copy Path".
4. Paste the list into Excel, using 'Fixed Width' to split the patch names into a new column.
5. Copy the column with the patch names, and paste it into a text editor.

Suggestion Box: Thanks for the xtra T-03 content!...have been really pleased about the new content that keeps getting added! Now if we could just add one acoustic bass to MODO....)

We've also added new bonus content for Syntronik T-03 in honor of Bass Month (and we have a 4-for-1 on Syntronik bass synth instruments, too!).

The Mac installer for the bonus content doesn't work. When I click the Install button, I get an error message saying: "Install aborted. Cannot find any Sound Content to copy."

When the dmg opens and mounts, there is a folder named "Syntronik Sound Content" and its Instruments and Samples subfolders do have content in them.

Have not had this problem with any of the other Syntronik installers. Have re downloaded the bonus content installer twice and have the same problem.

I have another issue. Bought J-60 yesterday through CS, installed it, renewed my samples, but did not get any of those other free synths yet. Anyone having the same problem? Or am I doing something wrong?
