Red Tyrant - All guitars and no synths! Although I used an eBow...

Posted the audio to this before but I decided it needed a video with Melbourne's dinosaurs!

John Wegner: Guitars, Bass
Paul Wegner: Drums and Percussion

Thanks to those that have a listen and comment...

Powerful, raw guitar work. The shuffling ebow interlude was a nice change of pace.

Did you do that dinosaur animation? Quite impressive. You must have a good computer. Mine chokes on demanding video effects.

Thanks Fratnz. The dinosaur annimation is green screen that someone did and posted on the internet and let anyone use it. So I did...

I have a Macbook Pro which is fast enough I think. It seems to run Motion 5 without any problems and Logic pro X never seems slugish. I think the SSD is awesome...

Great job with the video, John.

Melbourne - "This is a dangerous place!"

Good to hear this one again. Where does the time go?

Good work :)

Thanks heaps for your awesome feedback! I was happy with that transition too, so very glad you enjoyed it as well! :) Someone once told me the lead on this threw them against the wall or some such physical feeling. I wanted the lead to be physical and visceral!
Cheers,
John

Thanks Tim. Not sure where it goes actually... We have to be very careful in Melbourne! Not just because of the snakes and spiders. ;)

Works very well with that video!

Love the raw, punk edge to that guitar sound...reminds me of 'Mommy's Little Monsters' and other such slightly more progressive punk bands!

Pleasant guitar music. Fits well to the video.
Sounds and looks good.

Nice edgy hard guitar music.

It went well with the video. Times could be pretty rough back then too.

I’m an old Proto Punk listener. They couldn’t afford synths back then.

Nice bit of shreddage you have going on there, took me back to those concept albums back in the day. I could also swear some of those dinosaurs where rocking out in the video. Good stuff.
I invite you to 'voyage' over to https://adrianearnshaw.com, sign up for some fun e-mail 'blasts', and look forward to helping you launch your ears - and projects - into the stratosphere.

Thanks Mark. That was my strat with it's wonderful idiosyncratic raw sound. I did check out Mommy's and can see what you mean. A progressive punk band I like is 'The Cardiacs'...
