I am very pleased to announce the release of my latest soundset for Diva, containing 100 Synthwave inspired patches.
Neon Circuits is the sequel to our popular Diva Oblivion soundbank, and features 100 handcrafted patches perfect for synthwave producers or anyone who needs to add a vintage '80s flavour to their sonic palette.
For this bank we have drawn inspiration from synth pioneers such as Tangerine Dream, John Carpenter, Mark Isham and Harold Faltermeyer, as well as contemporary synthwave practitioners, to evoke the nostalgic analogue sound of '80s synth-pop and and film scores.
Inside the bank you will find powerful synth basses, cinematic pads and sweeps, blistering leads, vintage arpeggios, glistening bells, analogue-sounding brasses, dreamy poly synths, soaring strings and sci-fi inspired sound effects.

Yes, great sounds indeed!
The presets here fully explore the power of Diva —for a great price.
Nice demo and nice web site also, there's obviously a lot of work here.
More of this, please

Hi, got an email that this is on sale now.
Key question for me: Do these patches respond to modwheel and/or aftertouch real time modulation?
The free bank doesn't, but I don't want to assume this bank doesn't either.
thanks

Modwheel > yes.
I don't know for aftertouch.

It was on sale for $10 so I bought it as I like the sounds from the walk through, however I would not at all call this modwheel implementation at all.
Modhweel to Vibrato.... and modwheel to filter cutoff and to effects on a few patches.
Disappointing.

edit: In fairness I realise now that I had asked him this very question via email a year ago and forgot. I had gotten this answer:

to the original question:Most of the patches have mod wheel mapped to vibrato, but I suspect the mod wheel won’t be as expressive as you’re hoping for. The patches in the free bank you downloaded are less sophisticated, but they give a good indication of what you can expect in Neon Circuits.
None of the patches have aftertouch assigned.
I will be paying attention to making my future soundsets more expressive when playing the mod wheel, so I appreciate the feedback!
Hi, Just saw your post on kvr that your Neon Circuits is on BF sale.
Tbh I had never heard your work before so I noticed there was a freeware bank Obivion which i download and played and it sounded great, but alas most/many if the patches don’t respond to modhweel much less aftertouch. Which for me is a necessity. Of course in a free bank I can’t/shouldn’t complain about that .
But re: Neon Circuits. It doesn’t say but are those patches mapped to modwheel/aftertouch/breath controller etc? Real time modulation.
thanks

I remember that you reached out the last time Neon Circuits was on sale and I advised you against purchasing the soundset since I suspected that the modwheel implementation would not meet your expectations.
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase please contact me and we'll work something out.
