Excellent, thanks 0degree! Forgot about these; no doubt I'll find some positive comments from myself amongst them, also long forgotten:)

Thanks for these links. I wasn't even aware that NI had a blog, let alone put any effort into promoting the Reaktor user library. I've only seen a few of the ensembles mentioned in these articles and now I expect to spend a couple hours exploring the others...

Here's another great list some blog put together. This has some gems:

(Using this thread now as a good, likely to stay put reference resource…)

…I'll add here this very interesting YT play-list from salamaderanagram and ADSR in which he demos and explains an excellent collection of his favorite makes and hits from the UL (it'll play here, but I guess you have to link back to YT to see the full play-list in the sidebar):

I m going to make a specific reference to Reaktor 6 VHS. It is now my go-to for getting that 60s Vinyl record or tape sound, clicks, pops and all.

Excellent add, love it and had never really noticed it before; thanks!

I don't think this has been mentioned. Arguably the most powerful sequencer ever made in Reaktor. Currently up to version 2.6 I think.

Interesting list, would not be my list. I think that this comes a lot down to how one defines "best" with respect to their own needs. I'm not disagreeing that there are some decent choices in there as well as some that a bit more off the beaten path, there are.

Oh yeah I agree, it would not be my top 12 either, but there is some really quality stuff there and a few that I hadn't noticed before.
