What tools have you used to unrar? They might be using RAR5 format. IIRC, the Keka (un)archiver can extract these.

Nope, Keka did not help. Also threw an error. I later tried it on a Windows box. On Windows it would complete the un-rar process but throw a warning and, upon closer inspection, leave one sample corrupted (something you would probably never notice if you use the library).

I had a similar issue. Turns out upgrading to the latest version of 7-Zip fixed it.

I was wondering if people have issues with the rar files that VSTBuzz/AudioBundleDeals provides.

I was unable to un-rar the last two purchases I made. I re-downloaded multiple times and used probably half a dozen un-rar utilities. No success. I'm on a Mac.

The last time this happened to me the original developer of the library told me that VSTBuzz had been re-packaging his library and that this repackaged library created issues for most Mac and many Windows users. Apparently they use a rar tool that does not play nice. Back then, VSTBuzz allowed me to access the library in a single file which worked.

This time, however, they left me hanging completely. All I currently have is a set of rar files that is un-un-rar-able. And all that their support is sending me is one "use another un-rar tool" message after another. I have 30 years experience as an IT professional and I am completely stymied.

I used The Unarchiver (on Mac) to unzip Braaams and Atlantica with no problem. Though I did have to unzip each file separately rather than that thing where you unzip the first one and it does all of them.

$ 29 was a 2 days flash sale, as advertised, it was the second time ever on sale in this price, but never under it. I.e. you better grab the plugin, if you need it, when its $ 29. The marketing jargon then lives its own life.

I was gonna recommend WinRAR, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that’s also a Windows-only product.

Seems ridiculous to have to use Boot Camp or Parallels just to unarchive something.

I recall there being a solution on OSX for 7-Zip. Looking into it, even Unarchiver supports 7-zip or 7z. You must have a corrupt download?
