I've got a zillion drum samples, but I don't think I have a quality brush kit. I dunno, maybe I should look again. What are some good ones, though?

That is my favorite. BFD has decent oens as well but fewer articulations.pljones wrote:ns_kit7 has a nice brush kit. Um, that's now NDK: http://naturaldrum.com/

Done. It's nice and cheap, and in a format I can load (I don't own BFD).chokehold wrote:+1chroma wrote:http://samples.wavesfactory.com/brushdrums/

If you have Addictive Drums, their Jazz Brush kit is fantastic. Has various length sweeps, open and closed lateral snare, more articulations. https://www.xlnaudio.com/products/adpak ... zz_brushes

I was not happy with the sweeps in any of the kits I had, so I ended up making my own (with a little help from pljones), which has configurable sweeps which should work at any tempo, plus bonus stuff like a brushed darbouka and broken cymbals.

There's also a recent free kit here, which I haven't tried yet, as it's Mac-only so far: http://sampleson.com/

This is part of their 'legacy' folder now so I'm not sure the availability, but Cinesamples' Brush Kit is pretty good.
Also there is a freebie for extant customers by SonicCouture, VA Brush Kit.
