Don't know why, but after adjusting a global tuning frequency parameter on my synth, some of the keyboard effects started to sound really quacky in a mix. The reason why I had to change the frequency is I had to tune the keyboard to the rest of the instruments in the mix. Anyone know of a plugin that will smooth it out the quackiness without killing the top end ?

this isn't a real post, is it? you've given almost no information; what synth? and is the filter attack slower than the volume attack? or have you considered simply using another sound? if you want useful answers, provide more details...

Short answer: EQ
Right answer: Rebuild the synth patch

Or a dynamic eq. TDR Nova could work. There's a free version available.

Did you try Reason?

Or use a De-quacker, it should be able to keep your top from coming off, whilst removing the most annoying sound in the world.

Have you ever tried reasoning with a duck? They just don't listen.

Use the same silencer you use on your wife.
If that does the trick, it should able to dequack everything.

I always use this plugin, it's amazing.

Sorry, it's only 32 bit Mac AU, but it's just the thing.

64bit setup? shouldn't be an issue; run 2 of them (32x2=64)...
