whoa, that sounds like a heavy album; I don't know it... I found a wiki article:

thanks for that!!

bucking FUMP

I actually became conflicted about the success of the first section and sometime a few yrs afterwards made changes. Today I heard something by Ambi Subramaniam which reminded me of it, it took me a while to determine where ONE was in it [5 + 3] + [5+4].

Replaced long-dead mp3 link with Youtube, official version for posterity.

Good greif! Are you aiming for a reprise record? :o
although...
I still think I'm not quite 'ready' for this sort of music :scared: :ud:
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

hear it on something where you can hear bass, and highs. it loses something a lot on a laptop.

edit, dropbox link NG
That was freaking cool. Has a strong ethnic vibe while still sounding like a B murder mystery theme.

Love your stuff.

Reprise_Records#Sold_to_Warner_Bros

Reprise president Mo Ostin was retained as the head of the label...

I've bumped a couple things lately. Lemmee think: this; Gnossiennes 1 & 3, As Alien As. Three? Yeah, that's a record for KVR.

Fact is, the first section has a change I made in I think 2015. I may have already said that.
It had like 5 views since, before I bumped. I'm really not very pushy.

It's really scary, isn't it kids? WOOOOOOOO!!/Count Floyd

What's going on with you, 2011 you weren't ready, 2018 same deal.
:-o

I imagine you didn't get the abstract joke I made out of 'reprise record'...
but there's another rhythmically involved - in a different way - composition for comparison and my background.

Things happen fast sometimes and I knock them into shape and commit (even as I went into sort one thing 3 or 4 yrs after the fact). It's a Gordian Knot kind of deal, it would be a poor use of time to change it much and there's a danger of ruination.

I'd like to get back into something like it, albeit more repetitive and less restless. I had so many ideas at the same time, I would create a new project for the excesses that were a potential rabbit hole. The last section, I would go to sleep and solutions would arrive via dreaming and I'd get up and go directly to work.

So one project was, as in this case 3 rather different ideas, and it was a matter of getting them down while I could and at a certain point I was thinking of the next piece.

I guess I'm just getting old^H^H^H middle-aged

found myself strangely unmoved by the indian/persian motifs ...
the bass and percussion interplay is to die for ...
excellent dynamics w/ tension/release/tension ...

"the big one for me is Le Sacre du Printemps."

Which was what I was comparing certain sections to when I read your comment! :0)

I still remember the first time I hear 'Rites' ...WTF!?

2nd Time...WTF!?

Went like that for about a week as I listened again and again and tried to play bits on the piano!

Still wows me 35 years later!
