Well yes and no. There were a series of 15 steps I had to follow systematically, many of which involved deleting files deep within the system. That's why the copy protection madness has to stop. Copy protection yes, but not this kind of activation hassle.

I plan on installing a new SSD in my desktop soon. This thread looks like a good cautionary tale to make sure I deactivate all my ilok licenses before doing so. Hopefully I won’t have the same problems.
