Looking for an acoustic simulator for electric guitar (VST)

When I try to google it, it shows Virtual Instruments only. Does someone know any?

You may want to check out Peavey's Revalver 4. The core download is free and includes one acoustic simulator. You can then buy others in their amp store.

Cheers, never knew about that. Not bad at all. I wouldn't use it for an exposed guitar part, but for some strumming in the background, or for demoing stuff when you can't be arsed mic'ing up the acoustic, it would be useful. Definitely better than other ones I've heard, and to be honest it's not a million miles off the acoustic models in my Variax guitar...and the bastard battery won't run out.GreyLion wrote:You may want to check out Peavey's Revalver 4. You might also look into convolution. I know there are some acoustic guitar impulse responses out there.
This might also get you there....it's meant as an acoustic guitar processor but might also do the trick with a clean electric signal:

hm, never heard about acoustic guitar impulse, only cabinets and reverb... Sound interesting, thanks!
