Any Good Courses Or Books On How To Sequence Believable Guitar Parts

Hi,

I own East West's Ministry Of Rock 2 and Orange Tree Samples Dracus. Not being a guitarist myself, they work and sound incredible for basic guitar parts; but some of the song demos done for these products sound phenomenal! Obviously sequenced by guitarists or those that understand how guitarists play. Are there any online courses or books on midi sequencing for guitar, especially geared towards Rock/Metal guitar? None of the guitar VST manufacturers do a good job of teaching how to use their product. East/West is horrible as they don't even supply you with the MIDI files of their demos. The exception may be the developer of Shreddage 2 that has a few videos explaining his composition process. Given the support so far, if I had it to do over, I'd have chosen Shreddage 2. I hate dropping yet another $140 on another guitar VST, if I'm still not sure there's a learning path to get the most out of product. Thanks, AL.

Hi Al,

I just replied to your message in the OTS forum. As far as sequencing tips, these two videos might be worth a watch:
