8 years ago I bought a VSTi call Sonivox Dynamic Acoustic Bass for about $20. I installed it again this week but couldn't activate it. Seems it's been abandoned/discontinued.
There is a folder on my C drive that has the .wav files from the instrument so I thought I might try creating and sfz. But I can't seem to load them into anything. They don't play in Windows Media Player, can't load them into VSampler, Sforzando or anything else I've tried.
I know it's a format issue but I don't know what format I should be trying to use.
Any ideas?

Yeah, the legacy authorization server is no longer supported. I was trying to activate Pulse. I contacted support and they confirmed it, saying:
I tried getting at the samples but they were locked in an encrypted monolith file. I imagine those "WAV" files are similarly encrypted. Nothing's going to open them except the plugin.
They offered me a license to Air Xpand, which I declined. But you might want to contact them. The following titles are affected -
· Playa Producer Pack (Hip Hop Strings, Sampla, Reggeaton, etc)
· Pulse
· Vocalizer (v1)
· All DVIs
