My Feedback
Music - 8
Instruments - 9
Performance - 9
Mix - 10
Overall - 9
Comments: Nice creepy vibe on this one. In spite of the sparse (almost non existent) melody line for the first couple of minutes, it holds one's interest. The subtle arrangement variations work. Probably suited more to soundtrack than traditional song. Kept my interest all the way through.

Its got definite sinister stirrings to it, was more of a turn down a bit on my headphones than vice versa
Overall it held my attention, would had liked some hi synth to possibly add an additional edge to it.

Fantastic stuff. You held my interest until the end. A great selection of sounds and effective progression. If I was going to nitpick, maybe a little more variation in the drums wouldn't go astray, but what's there is great.

Cool combination of drums and nasty synths!
The "bridge" and the second last section are my favourite parts...
Well done!

Really well done. Reminds me a lot of Terminal Sound System...i really like the kit drums, and the arrangement, especially in the first 2/3rds of the song, is great.
A couple of mix suggestions: while i like the kit drums, they lack a bit of punch. Instead of screwing up the openness and natural sound of the drums themselves, maybe run them into some parallel compression and EQing to get a bit more smack without interfering with their actual sound. The drums may also be aided by a bit more variation. Are they MIDI or a live performance?
i also think the mix needs some EQ work...a bit more in the 'harsh' upper-midrange to really hit you when the synths bloom and some cutting in the lower mid frequencies to get rid of some of the mud that's happening. At the moment the mix sounds a little soft.

Love the horns of doom that introduce the track and continue throughout. Although it is mainly rhythmic there is enough going on to keep the listeners' interest. Nice creepy, horror track.
I invite you to 'voyage' over to https://adrianearnshaw.com, sign up for some fun e-mail 'blasts', and look forward to helping you launch your ears - and projects - into the stratosphere.

Had my big 150 W per channel speakers on high volume when I fist clicked on this (had been happily listening to DEVIL DRIVER, before an unwanted visitor arrived)!
That awesome opening sound - blew him through a portal into an alternate universe...f**king brilliant...thank you! :0)
Great track - loved it...sinister and disturbing..great sound combos.
I would've loved to hear a hooky lead melody of some sort as well, but you can't always have everything you want and it it works as it is very well!
One more listen and then back to DD!

Thank you for taking the time to listen. I really appreciate your feedbackVortifex wrote:Man I really enjoyed that. Raw evilness. The darkness of the darkest of drum and bass crossed with live downtempo drums. I'd love to hear more stuff like this.

My kind of soundtrack. It would make a perfect accompaniment to on-screen scenes of destruction. Great choice of individual sounds, and the combination of those sounds is terrific, in the original meaning of the word. I used to go shopping in Woking most weekends, and regularly made a point of going to see the Tripod.
