Finished a 1st mix of my song. 24 tracks (I remember the first time doing this one, was on a 4tk cassette). Gonna listen to it for a day or so, then tweak it as needed.

I may have 2 acres behind me but there is a very cool breeze in the front, been doing this a bit lately. Got my Bose Acoustic Wave in the window, could easily have an amp behind me in the garage and yup my feet up on an upside down bucket (and a no maam t shirt :hihi: ). Every so often a car goes by but not too often, get a lot of waves...this is nice and Im spending a lot of my summer here toking on my vape and taking it slow and simple

Wait....what?

Ash's cat Ezze got into the basement and found a way out of the house, searched for an hour with no luck. I was standing at the back window calling her when I hear her little meow, she was under the back porch. (I was ready to rip that thing off the house if I had to) I got her, gave her to Ash but she was scared and wiggled away. She ran around the house and we couldn't find her again. We were in the front yard calling her, Ash looked in the front screen door and there was Ezze with my Voodoo back inside, she came in how she got out. (already fixed that so it wont happen again)

She's scared right now, she was only out for an hour and I discovered her escape minutes after she got out so I know. She didn't go far thankfully and another good thing is she rubs against everything so she knew her way home. I think she got out, went under the porch and didn't go anywhere else because she was scared. I am very happy she is home :phew:

Seems I have the recording bug, for the first time in ages. Started work on my 2nd song in the last month. The first one turned out well, with a niggle that my inner perfectionist will have to cope with. The last one was a dirge...this is the opposite.

Finally getting to put my 'tools' to good work, after passively assimilating all kinds of recording knowledge for years. Feels good.

Tonight I'm going back to the 90s. Eurodance concert (Masterboy, 2 Unlimited, Snap! and Dr. Alban). Yeah I'm silly, but WTF, it'll be a ton of fun. :D
