Touchscreen UI Design software for Win/OSX?

Hello all - I’m new here[1]. I’ve read several discussions about the use of touchscreens for music applications. My question is: is anyone making anything like Lemur (ie, software that allows one to design/drive a custom touchscreen layout that outputs MIDI or OSC or etc) for Windows or OSX?
I know that there are several iOS apps (including Lemur) that do this kind of thing. But I’d like to use a larger screen (I’m posting this from a 12.x” iPad Pro, and I find it too cramped). The other day I picked up a Planar PCT2235 22” touchscreen for about $210 (I needed a monitor anyway) and it seems nice, 1920x1080 resolution, 10 point touch, and the size is about right.
I’ve been searching about and haven’t found much software that might, say, allow me to lay out a Really Big Animoog keyboard (or one of those Buchla ‘bird’ things, etc). I’ve been attempting to use Emulator 2 but their documentation is a bit sparse. I’d appreciate any recommendations on other things to try.
Thank you!

Thank you! I’ll have to take the time to read the docs in detail etc, but - this looks great! Running this inside of a browser framework like Electron might be perfect!ThrashJazzAssassin wrote:Open Stage Control

(Next (rhetorical) question: can I run Open Stage Control and Electron on one of those cheap “PC Stick” things? I’m prepared to test this myself - but for sure I’d love to hear from anyone with previous experience)

PS: if anyone is interested: it looks as if both Lemur and touchOSC have been abandoned, on both iOS and Android. *Sigh*. I’d been wondering about obtaining one of those “Android Stick” devices to run either or both, but I’m not at all certain it is worth the effort at this point.

Thank you!
I guess I wouldn’t mind learning JUCE, although I was hoping to stay a couple levels above that.
Hollyhock looks interesting. I don’t believe it supports multitouch on OSX - but then, not a lot does ...

Perhaps use Hollyhock as a controller on a cheap PC using the Planar MT monitor.
Send midi out to the Mac.

Would be great if it was also a VSTi.
It seems it is geared for Ableton live.
It work ok with other DAW's?
Will order for sure.

^
Yes standalone
No VST
Just happens that the templates are Ableton or Traktor.
You can create any template you like, it acts like a normal midi controller.
Works with any software that has midi control.

Tried a few more times to order and one time I actually got to
Proceed with order and got this massage:
"SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0"
I will soon give up on trying to order.

I emailed support about your problems. I want them to get as many sales as possible to ensure this has a bright future. Did you email them?Kalamata Kid wrote: ↑Fri Nov 23, 2018 2:15 am Tried a few more times to order and one time I actually got to
