Softube clouds basically turns your Modular into a granular synth for the cheap price of 25$ at Audiodeluxe.
One of the most popular modules in hardware; now available in software (certified by Mutable Instruments).

Explanation of the hardware, which imo explains better how Clouds works.

Unless it was a typo and you meant M.I ( mutable instruments ) instead of N.I. ( native instruments )
It's not the source code from N.I. , it's the source code from Olivier Gillet ( mutable instruments ) which is open source .
It has then been ported by Michael Hetrick for reaktor blocks ( euroreakt ) , and also by the developer of vcv rack .
And now for the third time by softube ,and they are the only ones who charge money for it .
Greedy bastards
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

And you are free not to buy it. And perhaps MI is making money too when Softube sells one...

You get the sound quality of Softube. For me it's certainly worth the price.

What sound quality? If it's the same code, how can you get "different" sound quality? Did you test one against the other?

Unless they did an imitation better than the real thing... :hihi:

I think the only quality is in our pockets, that wil be safer with VCV.

It runs in the Softube Modular framework. ..

Reaktor, Modular, VCV, Max for Live, P900 each have a sound of their own and there are differences in sound 'quality'.

The Reaktor port is not even a complete port.

Fmr, if you don't like it, don't buy it. It's as simple as that. For me it's certainly worth the price.

So, since it's the Softube "framework", it has to be better, right from the beginning?

Good for them there are people thinking like you. :hihi:

Unfortunately for them, it seems those people are becoming rare.
