Interesting plugin.
FloFi works great in Bidule,
but if I insert it in the signal chain in Tracktion
I get a loud PLOP, the level stays at about +6.5db
and there's no sound put out anymore.

Hrm. When you say "put it into a signal chain", what is being done, exactly. I only mean that in the problem-solving way of asking, not the accusatory way. Wink

I used Tracktion when I was doing my share of the testing, so unless the version changed last-minute, it works fine in Tracktion for me.

I drag a new filter onto the effects chain of a track
or into a rack filter and choose FloFi, it loads...
... and then PLOP.

I don't know what to say. Sad I'm not the programmer, so I'd be no help anyways, but I've just tried it again in Tracktion with the latest installer, and no "Plop". I wish I could be more helpful, or at least commiserate, but it seems to be "all systems go" on this end.

we usually provide.... installer and non installer versions of our plugins the non installer will come in some days.... but (even though it may seem sifferent) I don't have access to the internet at home - so that's the reason why I'm not at home so much in the last days ....and I need to change that... I need to get all the things in my new appartment set up, and sorted)

but it does a clean install AND uninstall .....and it looks good

It did exactly the same here and I too tried the old host behaviour without any luck.

I wasn't what I expected but I quite like the buzzing sound Laughing

Interface looked cool though.

Something is strange in dodgetown... we've all tested it and found it to be working, and I've used it on some tracks. That's the most recent download, in Tracktion. However, as a member of the team, my version of the d/l was mailed to my inbox, so I can't help but wonder if the download is somehow different. Confused

In any case, thanks for giving it a try and we'll surely get back to you. Wink

Works fine here...
Using Magix Midi Studio Deluxe 2004...

It does do some really cool things to drums, but I don't know what it is doing exactly. What does "width" do exactly?
I like the dials a lot, really cool looking.

It's in the beautiful manual! But if you don't want to go through the hassle--

Width is basically the "Q" of the band that's receiving pitch-shifting and mangling. It's not a stereo width tool. Very Happy

Glad to hear it's working for you... it's a mystery to me what's going on!

aha, thanks for clearing that up for a lazy man like me Wink. I'll consult the manual now Embarassed. I did think stereo width initially, so maybe that should be labeled "Q" instead Wink.
I'll give it a go in Traktion to see what happens.
